Harry’s New York Bar

Berlin Savignyplatz
The historical Nikolaiviertel represents the historic centre of the city and gives visitors a feel for the old, traditional Berlin. Located in Berlin Mitte, its taverns and bars will charm you with their old-fashioned atmosphere and the typical Berlin dishes served. Especially tourists interested in the numerous souvenir shops and the 13th century Nikolai-church come here. You can reach Nikolaiviertel in just under 30 minutes from Lützowplatz. Take Bus 100 towards Alexanderplatz, change at Spandauer Str./Marienkirche. Take Bus M48 towards Zehlendorf, get off at the next station and you're there.

Other options for restaurants or nightlife in Berlin
Savigny Platz is located in the western part of the city, right in the heart of former "West Berlin". Its easy atmosphere is enjoyed by celebrities as well as normal Berliners. It offers lots of restaurants and bars, ranging from the Italian restaurant "12 Apostel", famous for its stone-oven pizzas, to the bar "Schwarzes Café", a Berlin classic, open 24 hours. To get to Savigny Platz within 15 minutes, take Bus 100 from Lützowplatz to Zoologischer Garten. Change there to take the S-Bahn (suburban railway) to Savignyplatz (just one stop west of the Zoologischer Garten).

Berlin Nikolaiviertel
Prenzlauer Berg is a popular neighbourhood in former East-Berlin, especially visited in the evenings. Russian and Jewish restaurants are among the special culinary and cultural experiences this place has to offer. Around Kollwitzplatz and the "Wasserturm", there are restaurants serving food from all around the world. Prenzlauer Berg is about 25 min. by bus from Lützowplatz. Take Bus M29 towards Hermannplatz, change at U Mendelssohn-Bartholdy-Park. From there, take U-Bahn U2 towards Pankow and get off at Senefelder Platz. From there, you can walk down Kollwitzstraße, which passes by Kollwitzplatz. The „Wasserturm" is located a few steps into Belforter Straße, the first cross-road of Kollwitzstraße.
